FEBRUARY
1st February: Guernsey Music Centre Winter Concert
In their annual Winter Concert series, Guernsey Music Centre students showcase their hard work with an evening of varied music.
1st, 8th, 15th & 22nd February: Guernsey Parkrun
Guernsey Parkrun is a 5k run held every Saturday morning all year round at Pembroke Bay. Most runners go to Pembroke Beach café for a coffee afterwards.
1st & 16th February: Watch Guernsey Football Live

1st - 28th February: The St Peter Port Sketch Club Exhibition
Come and see The St Peter Port Sketch Club Exhibition at George Crossan Gallery, in the Market Building, consisting of sketches of over 20 locations across St Peter Port from participants aged 7 to 70 years of age.
7th - 9th February: Traditional Guernsey Basketry Course
Guided by Claire Gaudion and her father Max Gaudion, you will be taken through each step of the basket-making process, creating your own Ponier à Cou from scratch, all whilst learning about the historic baskets from your knowledgeable hosts.
The course is priced at £200 per person, with all materials and tools included, and will take place at Les Caches Farm, Rue des Villets, Forest, hosted by The National Trust of Guernsey.
8th February: The Magic Numbers
The Magic Numbers are a UK-based four-piece band comprising two pairs of siblings.
Their Mercury Prize-nominated self-titled debut album was released in 2005 to critical acclaim, and contained top ten hit singles such as 'Forever Lost', 'Love Me Like You' and 'Love is a Game'.
They will be performing at St James.
12th February: Japanese Calligraphy Evening Workshop
Japanese calligraphy, known as "Shodo", is one of the oldest surviving traditional Japanese art forms. Emerging in Japan in the 4th Century, the art of writing Kanji (Chinese characters) creates beauty through the careful use of space and character formation.
While focusing on the formation of the individual brush strokes in each Kanji, Shodo teaches deep concentration and mindfulness. By practising Shodo students can achieve improved focus and mental health, while also learning the history and meaning behind each Kanji.
15th February: Watch Guernsey Raiders Rugby Live
If you love to support your rugby team across the UK, why not make the short trip to Guernsey and make a weekend of the experience? Tickets can be purchased at the gate for just £12 per person with both cash and card accepted.
15th February: Mirror Ball does Motown
After a sold-out show in 2024, the Soul Funk Corporation return to St James for another night of Motown, Soul & Funk. Playing hits from Stevie Wonder, The Surpremes, Four Tops, The Jackson 5 and many more.
Northern Soul DJ Andy Newman will be playing music on either side of the live band.
21st February: The Dudok Quartet - Amsterdam
The Dudok Quartet Amsterdam will be playing a crafted programme at St James, designed to engage their listeners in imaginative ways.
27th February: Lecture & Music Inspired by Victor Hugo
The Victor Hugo In Guernsey Society presents a Lecture & Recital at St James by Arnaud Bigaignon de Sullé.
Arnaud has attended many operas around the World and speaks regularly to public audiences about them. He was always filled with admiration for Victor Hugo.
During his lecture, Arnaud will talk about the many close links between Victor Hugo and music, especially opera.
GADOC will also be performing songs from Les Misérables.
28th February: Ardal O'Hanlon Live
Stand-up comedian, Ardal O'Hanlon will be performing at St James.
He has performed all over the world and appeared in TV shows such as Taskmaster and Would I Lie To You? with leading roles in other shows such as Death in Paradise.
28th February: Guernsey Rally
The Guernsey Rally is a closed road rally taking place on Friday 28 February and Saturday 1 March 2025, staged in lanes around the Island.
Friday 28 February starts at 13:30 with 1 stage and then will proceed to 2 evening stages from approximately 18:00.
There are 7 rally stages in total – 3 on Friday and 4 on Saturday with each stage being run 4 times. All these stages are located in various locations around the Island.

Learn everything about the fascinating history of seaweed in Guernsey and its many uses in cosmetics, farming, cooking and the fashion industry. This is a hands-on learning experience where you will get to use seaweed moisturiser and have the opportunity to eat multiple types of fresh seaweed straight from the beach.

8th March: Guernsey Symphony Orchestra Celebrating International Women's Day
Join the Guernsey Symphony Orchestra for a musical performance celebrating International Women's Day, showcasing many female instrumentalists.
14th March: Callum Aitken Live
Come along and hear Callum’s new songs for the first time in the lead-up to his debut solo record ‘Small Town Hero’, with music inspired by Bruce Springsteen, Bob Dylan, Paul Weller & Sam Fender.
15th March: A Night with Sarge ‘Pete’ Frampton and The Escape Committee
Pop down to St James for an evening of Blues and Rock with Sarge’ Pete’ Frampton and The Escape Committee
Formed by Guernseyman Pete Frampton in 1989, The Escape Committee has performed hundreds of gigs in the UK. They will be performing arrangements from the Friends Band repertoire as well as original songs.
19th March: The Fanny Davies International Piano Series presents Luke Jones
Welsh international prize-winning pianist, Luke Jones, performs Ravel's colourful Sonatine and Beethoven's early Sonata in C major, Op. 2 No. 3 before Liszt's Sonata in B minor. You can drop in at a free workshop and chat with Luke at the bar after the concert.
22nd March: Guernsey Symphonic Winds Is There Anybody Out There?
Join Guernsey Symphonic Winds in this family concert that is packed full of entertainment. The music is chosen to take you on a journey through space and other mystical dimensions.
Classic greats, TV themes, video games and film music make up a fun-packed programme.
