Located in St Peter Port with views overlooking neighbouring islands Herm and Sark, Havelet Bay is an easily accessible sandy beach.
The bay has two slipways, one by Castle Cornet and the other by Octopus Restaurant (currently closed for refurbishment), and is a great access point for sea swimming. Havelet Bay has dramatic tidal changes varying from expanses of sand and rock pools to explore at low tide, and crashing waves on the sea wall to admire from local eateries at high tide.
With views out to Herm, Sark and Castle Cornet and next to the sea water bathing pools, Havelet is a lovely bay to swim in, especially if you are exploring St Peter Port.
