Le Jaonnet Bay is a cove on the south coast of Guernsey and is nearby to Icart and La Villette. A small and sandy bay at low tide, it is one of the island’s many coastal hidden gems.
With no road access, it is recommended to take your own picnic with you, as there are no facilities down at Le Jaonnet. The cove is best accessed by walking 10 minutes along the main cliff path from Icart Point, then branching off to a path to the bay. You then will come across 218 steps and a ladder to get to the beach.
As Le Jaonnet is one of Guernsey’s harder beaches to get to, it does not attract many visitors, making it ideal for a peaceful day in the sun.
The nearest parking available is at Icart point. There are toilet facilities also located here.
