The festival consists of four races, allowing participants to enter as many or as few races as they like.

The festival will be taking place from Friday, 18 April – to Monday, 21 April, and includes a 5km road race, 4.75-mile full course cross country, 4x1 mile relay race, and 10km road race.

Entries can be made on an individual basis or as part of a team of four runners, with prizes on offer for top-placed finishers.

There is also a Junior Easter Running festival which takes place in conduction with the main event and features three races: a beach run, a cross country race and a 4 x 1 mile relay.

The main event consists of the following:

5K Road Race

Friday, 18 April 2025 at 10am

The opening event of the EY Easter Running Festival is a fast, flat coastal 5K starting at L’Eree and finishing on the Vazon coast road. The race largely takes place on open roads with all junctions being marshalled for traffic and to direct runners.

Keith Falla Memorial Cross Country

Saturday, 19 April 2025 at 10:30am The Keith Falla Memorial full course is the second race in the EY Easter Running Festival, following a traditional 4.75-mile lap of the paths and grass trails of L’Ancresse common. The course is run regularly in the Island fixtures and is something of a local benchmark for performances.

4 x 1 Mile Cross Country Relay

Sunday, 20 April 2025 at 10:30am

The relay takes place at Delancey Park. Each runner completes the same 1 mile loop featuring twists, turns and climbs. Teams may be men, women or mixed (prizes are available in all categories) and any athletes taking part in the festival without a team can be allocated a team if they so wish. This event is open to all but does not form part of the overall individual competition. Those in the team competition need to complete the relay with their designated overall team.

10K Road Race

Monday, 21 April 2025 at 9:30am

This flat, fast, and largely coastal 10k course has been gaining a reputation for producing PBs. The race follows a point-to-point route curving round the north of the Island, with the curve great enough to ensure that the course is admissible to Power of 10, despite the point-to-point nature of the route.

More info on the event can be found on their website.
