Local author Jenny O’Brien delves into the gripping history of Guernsey during WWII in her latest novel, The Book of Lost Children.
Inspired by true events, the story follows Evelyn Nightingale, a nurse at the Emergency Hospital, who risks everything to protect babies from the occupying forces. Decades later, a hidden family secret is uncovered in Dublin, triggering a heartbreaking chain of events that will change lives forever.
