Liberation 80: Elizabeth College Exile Exhibition
Elizabeth College will celebrate 80 years since its return from exile at the end of the Occupation with a unique and informative exhibition.
The exhibition will bring to life the incredible wartime journey of Elizabeth College's students and staff from their evacuation at the beginning of the German Occupation to the college's reopening in October 1945.
The story is told through rare original photographs, handwritten journals, wartime editions of The Elizabethan, and poignant memorabilia.
It will be on display in the College Hall which will be open to the public Saturday 3 May, from 10am to 12pm.
