21:30 Lighting of the V.E. Day Beacon at Pilcher’s Monument in line with the UK.
21:45 Procession of the flame from the Pilcher’s Monument beacon to the Sark Prison to be ceremonially locked up until 10th May.
11:30 Meet the Chelsea Pensioners & Gurkhas.
12:00 Unveiling of 80th Liberation Plaque outside the Sark Art Gallery.
12:15 Street Party.
13:30 Sing-a-Long with Ray Lowe.
14:00 Gurkhas perform their Kukri Knife dance on the Avenue Green.
15:00 Fun & Games on the Avenue Green.
18:30 Field Opens with a bar in the Marquee.
19:00 Live Bands begin.
20:45 Procession of the flame from the Sark Prison to the 80th Liberation Beacon on the Millennium Field.
21:00 Lighting of the 80th Liberation Beacon.
23:45 Last Orders.
08:30 Bus service from La Collinette to Harbour begins.
09:00 Visit by HMS Medusa & Rummy 3.
11:30 Last bus from the harbour to La Collinette.
11:45 Cavalcade to St. Peter’s Church/ Millennium Field. All are welcome to dress up and take part.
12:00 Church Service.
13:15 Cavalcade around the Millennium Field followed by prize-giving.
13:45 Picnic on the Millennium Field (Bar & food also available in the Marquee).
14:30 School ‘Liberation Display’ open to the public. Fun and Games on the field.
15:30 In the Marquee a Theatre Sketch “The Dame of Sark”.
16:30 In the Island Hall, film “Appointment with Venus”.
