Sark StarFest 2024
The Sark Astronomy Society is delighted to announce the visit of Paul Fellows from the Cambridge Astronomical Association for a two-night celestial event.
Thursday 7th March
- 4pm - Island Hall: Welcome and solar telescope viewing.
- 5pm - Island Hall, Board Room: Presentation on "The Life and Death of Stars" by Paul Fellows.
- 9pm - Dachinger Observatory: Stargazing session (planetarium show in case of cloudy weather).*
Friday 8th March
- 5pm - Pitcher Monument: Solar telescope viewing.*
- 6pm - Pitcher Monument: Sunset observation accompanied by refreshments.*
- 7pm - Island Hall, Board Room: Lecture titled "Shooting Stars and Space Rocks" by Paul Fellows.
- 9pm - Dachinger Observatory: Stargazing session (movie night if weather is cloudy).*
