Created from the original 18th century Old Crown Offices it provides an intimate and flexible collection of inviting spaces that are perfect for a wide range of occasions and functions.  

The plush and cosy bar has a very traditional and opulent feel, with red leather banquette seating and a wealth of antique brass fittings. It offers an outstanding selection of premium whiskies and British gins, Champagne, vodkas and cognacs as well as cocktails, beers and fine wines including signature vintages from Bouchard Finlayson, The Red Carnation Hotel Collection’s very own wine estate in South Africa.

The orangery-style conservatory is a light and spacious environment with a striking black and white decorative scheme. Overlooking the hotel pool and gardens, it stretches the length of the building and is the ideal spot for enjoying the informal light dining menu – you can enjoy delicious hot and cold sandwiches, such as a Guernsey lobster roll or Donald Russell beef burger, made with only the freshest local ingredients. 

There are two outside terraces. One overlooking the sunken gardens opposite the hotel and the other overlooking the swimming pool with magnificent views across the town and harbour of St Peter Port to the sea. This terrace has outside heaters and fountain lighting and can be accessed via the street entrance or through the Orangery-style conservatory.

Guests looking for a private space or a more intimate experience have a number of options. Upstairs there are three beautifully decorated boardrooms that can accommodate between six to eight people in each and, for extra special events or entertaining, there is a glass-walled wine and whisky tasting room. Although the interiors maintain the building’s historical character there’s the very latest technology throughout - mirror TVs, plug and play connectivity and complimentary WiFi. The Crown Club, which can be accessed through the hotel Brasserie or directly from the street, is popular with hotel guests and non-residents alike who love the luxuriously relaxed surroundings and  discreet and personal service.
