About La Collinette

A family-run hotel for almost 60 years, La Collinette is one of the friendliest places to stay in Guernsey.

Originally a 19th century country house, it was commandeered by occupying German forces during the Second World War and many reminders of that period remain around the building, including a complex of bunkers you can visit during your stay.

La Collinette is in a great location, right next to the picturesque Candie Gardens, which provide a nice route down to the town centre, the charming St Peter Port, with its cobbled streets, restaurants, shops and museums.

The hotel’s Garden Terrace is a real sun trap, and a wonderful spot to enjoy a drink or a bite to eat, or simply bask in the glorious Guernsey sunshine.

The gardens are lovely, and of course there is the large heated outdoor pool, with a smaller pool for little ones nearby.

The bar and restaurant have recently been renovated, and are popular with guests and locals alike. Their cocktail list comes highly recommended.
